Heart Light Ministry is in the process of establishing our Seeing Heart Dog Program.

WHAT IS A SEEING HEART DOG?
A Seeing Heart Dog is one of many kinds of recognized breeds as well as an endless
combination of breeds who has the unique ability to "see" into the "hearts" of those
in need of  Love, Compassion, Friendship, Healing and Therapy. 

Our Mascot, Koda, is a wonderful combination of Gordon Setter and
Australian Shepherd.  She gives her heart to everyone she meets,
without condition. This is what we look for when we accept a
"Seeing Heart Dog" into our Training Program.  While the dogs
natural instincts are loving and healing, the "Caretaker" must
accept responsibility for assisting their Seeing Heart Dog Initiate
in becoming ALL that it can be by proper diet, care, training, and
most of all . . . a good example . . . This, of course, means . . . LOVE.

Through this program, we encourage concerned and compassionate Dog Lovers to rescue
a dog from their local shelter or from one of many online Rescue Centers.  We will then
train and certify them and their companion to be a Therapy Dog.
